Three words, one name:  Vue D'Esprit.  I am a longtime fan of Bryce (the
program) and 5 works superb in OS X.  Vue D'Esprit should be looked at as a
complementary application to Bryce, as it has a much better rendering
engine, however slow.

Vue D'Esprit has some better world generation tools, but lacks the overall
stability and longtime Mac base that Bryce will provide you.
