WOAH! How many songs do you have? On my iMac 266 w/ 160  meg of RAM, iTunes 
and Nova work perfectly together...I barely experence any slowdown at all. 
But, that might also be do to the fact that I lend 115 meg of it to Nova. 
It's just...I stay away from large plugins...
