Hehe....thats where something called an emulator comes in. And, hey, we all
got Nova, right? If you want to try that stuff, visit emulation.net. Mac only
emulation products. Have fun!

There's generally a couple hundred people cruising around the galaxy at any
given time. Hauling cargo, fighting with each other, looking for
artifacts, etc. I was a beta tester, so I can personally attest to the
game being fun (at least during beta). You can even play a pilot for free
for 10 days without having to buy anything-- it's a monster download,

I should point out that it's entirely 3D. Notably easier on your hardware
than (let's just say) Quake3, though.
With a little luck, there will not be a prolonged discussion of the
relative merits of Jumpgate and EV here on the Escape Velocity plug-in
developers mailing list. This was a public service announcement for the
people who had never heard of JG, but wished that they had. =)
