I think that every EV has stayed well away from the "one ship to rule them
all" idea. It's just not realistic. Perhaps it could add some finality to a
pilot ("I've finally scraped together 750 million credits..."), but isn't it
just more fun to rely on piloting skill?

Oh, and the Monty Python still works, you know ;)
