Ambrosia isn't going to release a multiplayer edition of escape velocity. Is not going to. ever. If you would like to dispute this, take it to the EV bulletin boards, but I doubt you'll get much further with it. This is an add on development list. And no, you can't write an add on that would allow for multi-play.
