A good way to start to learn how to make EVN plug-ins and addons, is to  
examine the existing Nova Data files.  They contain examples of every  
different kind of resource.

The first step, as mentioned above, is to get an editor.  I recommend  
NovaTools if you have a Mac, and EVNew is the only option if you're on  
a PC.  Once you have an editor installed and set up, take a look at the  
resources that interest you in the Nova Data files.  If you have any  
specific questions, the Nova Bible (which should have come included  
with your Nova documentation) is an invaluable resource, as well as the  
EV Dev Corner forum:
